I received a shocking text from a boyfriend of many years past last night. He sent me a news link (below) that included a friend of ours, Damon. I have read this article at least five times thinking that it has got to be a huge misunderstanding as this is not the "Double D" that I knew.
DD and I were friends in college. He would come over to my house and hang out, we would go to Red Square with others to dance on Sunday and Thursday nights. He knew my family, I knew his. We lost touch after 1998 but reconnected on Facebook a few years ago. We spoke on the phoneoccassionally to catch up. He was raising his daughter that is the same age as my Kidlet alone. What happened?
I am so sick over this news.
